DOS cast acrylic glass is a multi-purpose plastic used for manufacturing 3D products, which can have various areas of application, e.g. bas-relief and 3D illuminated advertisement signs. Thermoplastic moulding materials on the basis of low-molecular polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) feature the characteristics relevant to acrylic polymers: high atmosphere resistance, transparence and dyeability in any color. Depending on the type of reprocessing, two types of granular PMMA are available:

Cast grades are reprocessed by casting under pressure into final or semi-finished products for general, technical or lighting purposes. Cast grades feature low viscosity when molten and easy reprocessing at temperature of 200-260 °С.

Extrusion grades are reprocessed by extrusion into sheets, sectional shapes and tubes. Extrusion grades feature higher viscosity when molten than cast grades.
